"The Slick" at Cocoa Beach, FL

"The Slick" is beloved by kiteboarders because of its open, shallow, flat water—perfect for learning—but frequented by locals and pros, too.

If you are starting your Kiteboarding Water Course in Cocoa Beach, you will be going to "the 520 Slick" just west of the Cape Canaveral Hospital on 520, next to the boat ramp.

The Slick is our favorite, but kiteboarding lessons held in Cocoa Beach may meet at other locations, too. If it is your first lesson you may meet at South Fifth Street, Cocoa Beach, or Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral, though probably and most easy, we'll just meet up at the store on 520, just past The Slick.
